Shepherd’s Pie

7 Potatoes, peeled and cubed (or 2 pkgs. Instant Potatoes)
1 lb. Ground Beef or Boston Burger
1 c. Water
2 cubes Beef Boullion
1 cube Chicken Boullion
1 ½ c. mixed Frozen Vegetables
Seasonings such as salt & pepper; steak seasoning; onion flakes

  1. Boil, drain and mash potatoes or follow directions on package of instant potatoes
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. In cast iron skillet (or any skillet) cook meat until browned and drain grease
  4. Pour water, boullion, seasonings and frozen veggies into skillet.
  5. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated
  6. Cover top of the mixture with the mashed potatoes in the same skillet if you used cast iron (in a casserole dish if you didn’t use a skillet that can go into the oven)
  7. Bake in preheated oven until top begins to brown
