1 lb. Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
1/2 Onion, diced
1 Pkg. Penne Pasta, cooked
1 can Tomato Sauce
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1 c. Cheese, shredded
Salt, pepper, basil & garlic powder to taste
In skillet, brown onion and ground meat. Drain.
Combine with cooked Penne Pasta in a large baking dish. Stir in tomato sauce, diced
tomatoes and seasonings. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese starts to turn golden.
Many vegetables can be added to this meal if desired. Cook zucchini and fresh mushrooms with the meat or mix drained canned spinach or white beans when you add the other canned items for nutritious additions.
