As you already know, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has disrupted our nation, forcing schools across the country to shut-down and states declaring emergencies as the potential impact of the virus becomes clear. The staff at Least Of These, Inc. Christian County Food Pantry is closely monitoring the ever-changing COVID-19 situation and following guidance from the CDC, Feeding America and the Christian County Health Department. In the face of these extraordinary circumstances, Least Of These remains committed to providing food assistance to families in Christian County.

What if I or someone I know needs Food?

If you live in Christian County and are in need of food, please call Least Of These at (417) 724-2500, Monday, Wednesday or Friday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM to complete an application over the phone or online.

What are we doing to help?

As the safety of our clients and volunteers is our top priority, we have decided to change the way families in Christian County receive their food.  Until further notice, Least Of These, Inc. clients will receive their food during scheduled appointments via a drive-thru pickup. We will be calling our clients to update them on the process and how it affects them. Our clients will receive pre-assembled boxes/bags of food as they drive through our lot. It will be similar to the Thanksgiving distribution but at our location, 1720 James River Road, Ozark. We must talk to you before you come to the pantry. No walk-ins allowed, you must have a scheduled appointment. Please call (417) 724-2500 to make an appointment. This will position us to continue to provide food to the most vulnerable in our community throughout this ever-changing situation. To keep traffic moving and to serve clients in the most efficient and safe manner you must have an appointment. Please only arrive during your scheduled time.

Please know we are taking an abundance of caution and doing whatever we can to keep our clients fed and volunteers safe. A few weeks ago, we began a more rigorous cleaning and sanitizing plan.
